This guesthouse was the highlight of our trip! the location was stunning, with breathtaking views and excellent hiking nearby. the rooms were immaculate and modern, with clean linens and towels provided. the bathrooms were perfectly clean and well-appointed, although it would have been helpful to have a bathmat or rug. the breakfast was delicious, with a continental spread and delicious coffee served in an insulated carafe. the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. the hot tub was a fantastic touch, offering a relaxing soak with a view.

Super sweet dog, easy-to-open windows for cool air, comfortable beds, pretty good breakfast. Wi-fi, shared kitchen, jacuzzi, hiking, picnic area, board games.

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! The owner was friendly and even offered to drive me to a nearby lava cave when he heard I was worried about the road conditions. The highlight of my stay was getting to interact with the adorable farm animals and feed the baby sheep. Plus, there were friendly dogs to keep me company outside. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. The only minor drawback was that the WiFi was only available in the kitchen, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. I highly recommend Guesthouse Steindorsstadir and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We got great value for our money at this lovely guesthouse. The room was comfortable and the view from the terrace was amazing. The staff were friendly and treated us like family.

I also appreciated the fact that there was a fully equipped kitchen available for guests to use. The surrounding area was beautiful, and the hot tub with a stunning view was a definite highlight of my stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, and I had a comfortable and relaxing visit overall.
